THE ELEMENTAL is a contemporary arts center dedicated to public programming, contemporary art, and youth arts education, supporting regional and international artists working at the intersection of art, environment, philosophy, and science. We present cutting-edge exhibitions, artist talks, performances, film screenings, international artist residencies, and public receptions, alongside our youth educational program New Generation Arts.
Housed within a large-scale industrial building in Palm Springs, THE ELEMENTAL was established in 2021 through the collaborative partnership between the Paris-based Fondation L'Accolade – Institut de France, founded by Catherine Dobler, and Epicenter Projects, the curatorial platform of Coachella Valley artist Cristopher Cichocki.
THE ELEMENTAL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit aligned under the fiscal sponsorship of Fulcrum Arts, funded by a community of supporters who believe in the transformative power of art and culture.
