​THE ELEMENTAL is a 501(c)(3) contemporary arts center dedicated to expanding public programming, cultivating contemporary art, and youth arts education, while supporting regional and international artists focused on the intersection of art, environment, philosophy and science. We present cutting-edge exhibitions, artist talks, performances, film screenings, artist residencies, and public receptions in addition to our youth educational program New Generation Arts.

THE ELEMENTAL brings together artists, scientists, philosophers, and environmental thinkers to create something the desert has never quite had before, a living cultural space that belongs to everyone. Now entering our fifth season of international public arts programming, we aim to amplify our impact with: boundary-pushing exhibitions, deep community connection, and our youth arts program New Generation Arts program that puts the next wave of creative voices in the room. Your support keeps this work free and open to all, and ensures the Coachella Valley remains a place where innovative ideas take root.
